An image is a place. It's a statement I once came across. Don't know where exactly.

But it has stayed with me ever since. I believe it is true. An image is a place.

• A place to linger
• A place to long for
• A place to experience
• A place to remember
• A place of joy, of awe, of sadness, of every mood there is.

The photographer decides what place to make.
